This page explains how to have data deleted, whether you visited this website, used WirtsHub at a hotel, or messaged a hotel that uses it. It is also the data deletion instructions URL registered with Meta for our WhatsApp integration.
The short version
Ask whoever you dealt with. Each hotel using WirtsHub decides what happens to the data it holds about you, and can delete it from inside the product. If you are not sure which one, or they do not reply, write to privacy@selvoq.com and we will help you work out who to ask. Either route answers within 30 days, usually far sooner, and tells you what was deleted rather than just confirming that something was.
If you messaged a hotel on WhatsApp
Hotels use WirtsHub to send booking confirmations and similar messages on WhatsApp. The conversation belongs to the hotel you messaged, not to us, so ask them first: they can delete it and your contact details from inside the product. If you cannot reach them, write to privacy@selvoq.com naming the phone number involved and we will arrange it with them.
To stop messages without deleting anything, reply STOP to the conversation. That takes effect immediately and does not require contacting us.
If you are a guest or an employee at a property using WirtsHub
Selvoq does not run hotels. Each property holds its own records, decides about them, and has its own retention to satisfy. We are its processor and act on its instructions, so ask the property directly. Name it to us and we will help it answer you.
A request covers the property you name. We do not search other properties for your details, and we do not contact any you have not named.
What we cannot delete, and why
Some records must be kept by law even when you ask us to delete everything: invoices, payment records, and guest registration data that hospitality law in Austria and Sweden requires be retained, typically for seven years. Those are locked to their legal purpose and are not used for anything else. We will tell you specifically what was retained and under which obligation, rather than quietly keeping it.
This website
The site sets no cookies, has no accounts, and stores no personal data beyond the emails you send us. Deleting your data here means deleting that correspondence, which we will do on request.
We do not use Facebook Login
Our Meta integration is for business messaging on WhatsApp only. We do not offer sign-in with Facebook or Instagram.
